The Ian Jones Memorial

This Trophy was donated to the club by Ian’s wife, Jan, & his family in memory of Ian who lost his life in a road accident on 13 July 2000.

He was an active & much liked committee member & competitor.

Ian drove his XU1 Torana with great zest to the pleasure of the spectators.

He was a very likeable sort of person, always good for a laugh, would help out at anytime & was well respected by his fellow members & competitors.

Once again Ken Zinner & Ted Brewster have been given the task of selecting the recipient of this award.
